El cantante y compositor Big Phony estará en Los Angeles para el estreno de su documental, I Hate Big Phony.

La idea de crear un documental sobre Big Phony se produjo después de que James Minor (SXSW) introdujo al director Milton Liu a Bobby Choy mejor conocido como Big Phony. Milton estaba intrigado y curioso sobre la vida de Bobby, que le propuso documentar y hacer un álbum de recortes para el. El material obtenido de esos meses de seguir a Bobby en todo el mundo en el año 2015 lo corto cuidadosamente para narrar parte de su vida y los proyectos en curso de Bobby.

I Hate Big Phony se estrenará el viernes 22 de abril 2016 en el Festival de Cine de Asia y el Pacífico en Los Ángeles a las 6:30 pm en el Downtown Independent.

Singer-songwriter Big Phony will be in Los Angeles for the premiere of his documentary, I Hate Big Phony.

The idea of creating a documentary of Big Phony occurred after James Minor (SXSW) introduced filmmaker Milton Liu to Bobby Choy aka Big Phony. Milton was intrigued and curious about Bobby’s journey that he proposed to document it and make a scrapbook. The footage obtained from those months of following Bobby around the world  in 2015 is carefully put together to narrate part of his life and current projects.

I Hate Big Phony will premiere on Friday April 22^nd, 2016 at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival at 6:30pm at the Downtown Independent.

After the screening there will be a listening party of Big Phony’s new album a block away from The Downtown Independent at Seoul Sausage 236 S. Los Angeles St.

YB, one of the most popular and critically acclaimed bands in South Korea is gearing up to celebrate their 20^th anniversary with their U.S. fans.

YB was formed in 1995, after lead singer Do-Hyun gave up his solo career to form a band. 20 years later and nine studio albums, the band is still going strong more than ever.

To celebrate their recent milestone, YB is holding two concerts in the U.S. at the Pechanga Resortand Casino in Temecula, CA. The concerts are scheduled for June 10-11^th, 2016 with ticket prices ranging from $70-$200.
